Email Subscriptions

February 2, 2010 · 2 comments

I’ve received a couple of emails about problems with subscribing to taxgirl via email. I’ve checked into it and it appears that some folks aren’t verifying their subscriptions after they subscribe. My guess is that some of the verification links are getting gobbled up by spam filters. If you haven’t received a verification link, you can try again. Click here: Subscribe to taxgirl by e-mail

After you enter your email address and the anti-spambot text, you should see this screen:

And then you wait. You should eventually receive an email that looks like this:

The email will come from feed@taxgirl.com – you’ll be asked to click a link to verify your email address. The purpose of the verification is to make sure that it was really you that requested the subscription. This is the last time that you’ll be asked to click on a link or otherwise verify your email address – just this once.

I hope that fixes your subscription troubles. If not, please shoot me a note. It’s tax season and I know you don’t want to miss a thing! And it’s free – what can you get for free anymore?

Thanks for reading!
