Her mother and I are proud of her and her stand for justice and the truth, something many in the profession choose to ignore. I too, an a fan of A Man for All Seasons. Sir Thomas More is right. The law is our protection, only when our advocate seeks truth and justice, not just to win. And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned round on you -where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country's planted thick with laws from coast to coast --man's laws, not God's-- and if you cut them down-- d'you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then?
