First I am a day late, but I do have a thought... I can't vote for the Rat movie. I went to see the movie with my girls and I was not impressed. Of course I couldn't tell them that. They liked and they would certainly give the Rat movie the thumbs up, but that is not my vote.

Trading Places with Eddie Murphy was good. I enjoy watching the re-runs but I don't think it should win the fabulous prizes. I didn't see Blow or Casablanca, so my vote is The Shawshank Redemption. I believe it is a timeless movie and the lessons of life and redemption, life and death will transcend the year the movie was made. People will learn from this movie. So there you go. If it is not too late, there is my vote!!

Hmmm....this is tough because, well, none of these are on my list of faves. But my vote goes to Casablanca. I made my husband watch it with me a couple of weeks ago and he said something like: "I've never heard some many cliche movie lines in one place!"

And I said: "This is the movie that INVENTED all those cliched movie lines!"

But I didn't say until after I rolled my eyes and gave a big sigh...
