Hmm, not sure about cows, but according to our deed a tallow chandlery is not permitted, in case you were thinking of a new candlemaking business.

I never read any of my daughter's writings that I don't chuckle and want to continue on. She sees life with a wit few do. (Must be those Scot-Irish genes of her maternal great-grandmother). It is a large part of "smelling the roses" in life. Before she married, her brothers were the target of her wit, as they are as witty as they want to be at any moment. After she married, her wonderful husband, and Lyle her black Lab who is the love of her life, began to orbit toward the center of her life.
As a proud grandfather, I cherish the stories that come South almost daily. I also cherish that my daughter's household isn't boring at all, just like when she was home. Her oldest daughter, Katie, is Kelly in minature. Amy is Amy. A remarkable person as a work in progress. But to help Kelly, she needs to be a little more choosy in her choice of friends. As for my grandson, I have mostly seen him in his good moods. He truly will be handsome, and I hope a young man of height (to "overlook the family") and a man of honor and principles.
Kelly has never been short of dreams. I have always said when Kelly "is on a mountain, she is on a ladder. when she is in the valley, she has a shovel digging deeper".
Proud of my daughter, that I am.

I'm with you on the bed and breakfast thing. But it was more of an influence of my mom, who managed a lot of restaurants in the provinces.
