Psst. You. Over there, near the computer. The one pretending to work today but really not in the mood because of the holidays? Yeah you. I need a favor.
Today is the last day to cast your vote for taxgirl in the ABA Journal Blawg 100. No registration required. All you have to do visit this link, scroll down to “taxgirl” and check the box, couldn’t be easier.
I’m totally out of the running for the top niche blog (sniff, sniff) but I think I can still end the day fairly respectably. And then you won’t have to listen to me whine anymore.
Thanks.
I know, I know. You’re tired of the renovations… Me too. But I’m almost back to normal…
The big elephant in the room? Feeds. Your old feed likely doesn’t work anymore, depending on how long you’ve been with taxgirl.com. You’ll need to try something new.
[UPDATED: the link that I had inserted earlier DOES NOT work yet - grr. Please use the feedburner links as outlined below]
You can also subscribe via RSS or email using feedburner by clicking the appropriate link in the sidebar to your right. And great news! When you sign up for a free email subscription to taxgirl, it now comes to your inbox from me, using feed@taxgirl.com. The old feed sometimes read with a different blog name or as “unknown” but was unfortunately out of my control; you can delete the old one. So, Dad, stop complaining! The new email system rocks – or for the elders among us that can’t stand “that noise” (you know who you are) – it gently rolls.
If you experience any difficulties at all reading the site or getting the feed to work, please let me know! I’m happy to help.
I’m also really excited about the upcoming changes to the site. It’ll get prettier, I promise – and even more fun to read!
I know, I know. You think I look different… And here I thought it was the weight loss (I had to tout it somewhere!). It’s the skin. The blog site skin, to be exact.
The skins on the Business Channel are different this week, thanks to our friends at BusinessWeek. They are promoting a new service, Business Exchange, at http://bx.businessweek.com/ and are mixing up our look this week.
Next week, we’ll be back in the mustard at taxgirl!
I know, I know…
No sooner do I announce my return than ka-blooey: 502, 503, 504 and a whole other host of errors that I’ve never heard of before. But never fear, support is on it – they promise.
