Tax Trivia: Massive Tax Return

We have a winner! See comments!

Our next tax trivia question is:

The largest tax return in history was filed electronically in 2006. The 237 MB return, filed by GE, would have been more than 24,000 pages if printed. If those pages were laid head to head, how many miles would they cover?

Don’t forget: the first correct answer wins free CCH tax prep software.

What’s your guess?

You didn’t specify if it was legal sheets or standard size. I think that would change the length, no?

Of course it would, but I think most folks understand that a sheet of paper is standard size. I can’t remember the last time that someone asked for legal paper and didn’t say “legal paper.”
