Turbo Tax woes?
Relax! You now have until midnight tonight to file.
The IRS has extended the deadline for filing because Intuit has confirmed that the company encountered server problems making it impossible for many taxpayers to e-File on time.
If you were affected, theIRS will not apply late filing penalties to taxpayers so long as you file by the end of the day today. Psst, don’t wait until the last minute, try filing as soon as possible to avoid any additional delays (though Intuit claims to have fixed the problem).
Several states, including Pennsylvania, have agreed to a similar extension.
