I had the exact same reaction as yours – I think Flynt’s attempt at getting bailout makes a fascinating point about how ridiculous it has gotten. I hadn’t really put my finger on the loss of meaning of the word billion, but it is so true. I don’t even blink an eye anymore when there is an announcement about hundreds of billions being shoveled out the door.

I still maintain that they’re going to spend, spend, spend. So give a bailout to us individuals. It’s our money, we’re going to have to pay it back with interest, it may as well benefit us in the short run…

Larry has my full support. I’m so pissed at our government. How are people who are losing their homes (HOMELESS) supposed to bail out the rest of the world?
