We have our winners! Lucy, Jeremy and MarvS were randomly chosen from the comments – I’ll be in touch!
What could be more fun to talk about on the most romantic day of the year than taxes?
Er, okay, maybe I see your point.
How about instead, we have a fun giveaway that allows you to win free codes for TurboTax Online Deluxe 2010? That way, instead of blowing cash on tax software, TurboTax will make it easy for you to focus on romantic dinners and roses for that someone special (or your favorite tax blogger, hint, hint).
I have three software packages to give away. And since I’ve made you work all tax season for the giveaways so far, I’m making this one easy peasy. All you have to do is answer the following question:
Of course, there are rules. I’m an attorney, remember? Here they are:
- Post your answer in the comments section below or on the taxgirl fanpage on Facebook. I love my Twitter followers (muah!) but for this particular giveaway, tweets will not be counted.
- For purposes of the giveaway, your comment must be entered (even if it doesn’t show up) by the end of Valentine’s Day, February 14, 11:59 p.m. EST.
- Don’t panic if your comment doesn’t show immediately. If it goes to moderation because, for example, you’re new here, the time stamp on your comment is what counts.
- Enter as many times as you’d like but you must leave a different comment each time. My normal comment policy applies. I have standards, you know.
- You must leave a valid email address (it will not be made public) with your comment so that I can contact you if you are a winner.
- I’ll choose three winners at random using a random number generator.
- Pingbacks and trackbacks, while appreciated, won’t count for purposes of the giveaway.
- One winner per tax season. Feel free to post a comment if you’ve already won but only one free software package per person – let’s spread the love around.
- And I won’t disqualify you if you say Scarlett Johansson but I may read your comment with contempt. You’ve been warned.
Let the fun begin!
My celebrity crush is… you!
Well, I’d have to say it would be Zooey Deschanel. I saw her in Yes Man and her song about one night stands is awesome.
“Don’t call me passed 11pm, it won’t happen again
Happened once, it happened twice it happened three times, maybe four times, maybe five times, maybe, maybe it happened six
times but it won’t happen seven times”
Bobby, you get bonus points for that one!
I’d have to say Leonardo DiCaprio. I thought he was a poncy looking kid when he first hit the scene, but he sure grew up nice!!
My celeb crush is only a VERY local star named Ray. He’s a celeb because he took on the responsabilities of a women with three kids over twenty-five years ago. He has been there through thick and thin, teenage rebellion, little league, ballet, you name it. For a man who was a bachelor until I came along, he’s about as big a star as you can get, at least in my book.
Dreams reaaly do come true
Kevin O’Connor, host of This Old House. YES I LOVE FLANNEL.
My celebrity crush = Antonio Banderas *sigh* 🙂
Well, this is tough. I don’t really have a celebrity crush. I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to them. I don’t pay attention and I don’t know any of their names (well very few). There are a lot of pretty people in Hollywood, but none of them really attract me. I guess I’m just the kind of guy who loves his wife, and that’s all.
Just let Alan Jackson sing to me anytime. oooh
Sandra Bullock has been my celebrity crush since I was like 15. (yes, I like the older women) Everyone knew Jesse James was out of his league from the beginning. Then to pull his moronic move last year should have earned him a Darwin award!
Nathan Fillion. Yum, yum.
My crush is and always has been Mark Harmon. He is ageing very well, imho.
My wife knows the only celebrity I would leave her for is Anne Hathaway. My wife also knows she has nothing to worry about. (She would leave me for Hugh Laurie.) 🙂
hmmm, just one? I think it depends on who I’ve seen lately in favorite movies. like with logan, bullock gets a nod, but then so does kate bosworth, charlize theron, kate hudson, and grace park isn’t much of a celeb yet, but she’d qualify. I think I still have to go with naomi watts for the official answer.
Georges St. Pierre – can’t resist a smile like that.
Harrison Ford. He’s aged very well!
What about those of us who dislike the whole “You’re supposed to be in love with a celebrity” mentality? Yeah, rebels to the end. 😛
Hugh Jackman.
John Cusack. I’ve repeatedly watched “Say Anything” and “Serendipity.” And Nicholas Cage, despite his own tax issues. Loved him as a teen in Valley Girl and continue to see almost everything he does.
Eric Clapton — oh yes, since I was a teenager
Brandie Carlile. She sings so sweetly!
My celebrity crush is Jennifer Love Hewitt
