What’s the difference between the fair tax and the flat tax?
These days, quite a bit has been said about the fair tax - likely because it has been widely touted by a number of presidential candidates, including Huckabee.
The fair tax is often compared to the flat tax since both are ostensibly plans that are based on a fixed number. The flat tax plan has not been espoused publicly by many presidential candidates, the most noteworthy exception being Fred Thompson.
But what’s the difference, really? Miranda, over at Yielding Wealth, tackles the difference and asks for your opinion. Pop over and leave your opinion… I’m curious to see what folks are saying.
