What’s the difference between the fair tax and the flat tax?

Have you ever tried to read the tax code??? The tax Code is NOT complicated if “We” just found time to read it! As Americans it is our “Duty” to read and understand the tax code. It really is simple and to the point.

Laws are concise, definite, and easy to read; if we just found time to read them. Between soccer and football, and NASCAR and such “We” have lost track of what is important; keeping “OUR” government under control.

If you go to your local Law Library and search the written tax code under “Liability for tax” you will fine may taxes you “COULD” be liable for if you participated in certain activities. Like distilling or importing alcohol for instance, you would be “liable” for the tax on alcohol under Section 5005 of the Code…
26 USC 5005 Persons liable for tax.
(a) General.
The distiller or importer of distilled spirits shall be liable for the taxes imposed by section 5001(a)(1)

Or say you are a grower or importer of Tobacco products; you would be “Liable” for the tax on tobacco under section 5703 of the Code…
26 USC 5703 Liability for tax and method of payment.
(a) Liability for tax.
(1) Original liability.
The manufacturer or importer of tobacco products and cigarette papers and tubes shall be liable for the taxes imposed by section 5701.

Let’s say you were a bookie and you accepted bets from people for horse racing or something; you would be “Liable” for the tax on wagers under section 4401 of the Code…

(c) Persons liable for tax
Each person who is engaging in the business of accepting wagers shall be liable for and pay the tax under this subchapter on all wagers placed with him.

Now let’s say you wanted to see if you were “Liable” for “Income Taxes”, again you would look in the index to the Code under “Liability for Tax” and you might be surprised to find NO section(s) of the Code that made you “Liable” for “Income Taxes” as do the sections I have mentioned above.

What????? There is NO liability for income taxes in the Code book????? That is correct; there is no section of the Internal Revenue Code that establishes liability for income taxes!!!!!

How can that be you might ask????? How can there be no law(s) establishing liability for income taxes in the Code book when I have been told I have to pay my taxes like everyone else???

The answer is simple; you, “We” have been lied to since we were born!!!! Our parents have been lied to, we have been lied to, and our children are being lied to.

You see the law is simple to read “IF” we would just read it!!!! Unfortunately we do not have much time in our hectic lives for such meaningless things are educating ourselves when it comes to tax law. That is what we pay our CPA’s and accountants to do.

The problem is that if they told you the truth about income taxes it would put them out of a job, because you would not need their services anymore!!!

You would certainly stop paying a tax that the law does not require you to pay; wouldn’t you??? I know I have. I obey the law as written and that is where the problem lies! You have been told the tax code is confusing and difficult to read, and that it needs to be revamped or replaced with a “Fair Tax” or a “Flat Tax” or something!!! Yet all that really needs to be done is for ALL Americans to learn the truth about income taxes and just obey the law as written!!!

Stop paying what the law does not require you to pay!!! If “We” all stopped paying the income tax the government would not know the difference because not one dime of your income tax money goes to pay for the services you expect from the government any way; it ALL goes to pay the interest on the “Federal Deficit”, not the “Public Deficit” the “Federal Deficit”…

Our Government sold us out many years ago and has stolen our money ever since!!!! It is time “We” stood up and take back what is rightfully ours!!!! 1) Our MONEY, and 2) our Government!!!
