Wow, Two More Days To File?

Maybe.  If you were affected by the nor’easter on Monday, April 16, you’ll have even more time to file your taxes.

If you were affected by the storm due to power outages and public transit problems, you now have until midnight April 19 to meet your tax filing obligations without incurring late filing and payment penalties.  Just mark your paper tax returns with the words “April 16 Storm.” If you e-file, use the software’s “disaster” feature, if available.
