Deadline Extended (AGAIN)

It feels like tax season will never end!

The IRS has announced that taxpayers affected by the nor’easter on April 16 now have until Thursday, April 26 to file their tax returns, extending the deadline beyond the previously announced April 19.

If you are affected by the storm, mark your paper tax returns with the words “April 16 Storm.”  If you e-file, use your software’s “disaster” feature, if available.
