Plutus Nod
I’ve been nominated for a Plutus! Well, to be completely accurate, I’ve been nominated for a Plutus 2.0 award as “best tax blog.” If you’re feeling generous, pop on over and vote for me… I’d surely appreciate it.

I’ve received lots of interest in my tax amnesty piece from yesterday, mostly in the form of emails. The majority of questions and comments about the piece came from those of you who live outside of the state of Pennsylvania and who wanted to know about the commercial. As it turns out, it’s available on…
Yeah, yeah, I know. It was a bad joke last year, too, but I was hoping that it would grow on you. I’m speaking again at BlogHer – this time, it’s in San Francisco (insert squeals here). My session is Friday morning, July 18 at 10:30am. The description is here: If you’re a blogger, and…
I was pretty psyched to find out that I’ve been nominated by the ABA Journal as one of the Top 100 Legal Blogs for the second year in a row (insert lots of girly screaming here). Many thanks to the ABA Journal for including me on the list alongside some of my blogging heroes… And…
When the blog migrated over to the new format, I lost some of my old links. You may get a 404 error and taken back to my homepage. I have to go back through and edit the links manually, which may take awhile. If you find a bad link, don’t despair! I’m working on it….
Editor’s note: We have a winner! Congrats to bstenger, I’ll be in touch shortly! This week, I’m kicking off my new series on the history of popular tax deductions here on the blog. To celebrate this auspicious occasion (insert chuckling here), I’m doing a giveaway. One lucky winner will receive a Kindle with 6″ Display…

Congratulations! I follow your blog on a regular basis as part of my morning read and actually had voted for you a couple days ago when the list came out. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Eric!
Taxgirl–
I just tried to vote for you…got to the bottom where they asked me to add 1 plus 1 to validate…and it kept telling me the validation was not correct.
1 + 1 still equals 2, doesn’t it…or maybe not, nowadays…The only other thing I can think of is that I was only voting for your category :”}.
Hopefully others will get thru, you certainly do a great job!
Thanks for the try. Maybe it’s some kind of “new math”? I appreciate the effort!
Already voted for you 🙂 Of course!
drcassie8 – did you put your name and e-mail at the top? I missed that part too and kept getting the same validation error. Eventually mine worked.
