The Netherlands (which we at the office jokingly refer to as the “Delaware of the EU” – tax humor, I know, not for everyone) is winning over its share of famous folks, too. The Rolling Stones and U2 have been publicly identified for using favorable tax rules in the Netherlands to protect their millions.
Like Delaware, the Netherlands realized that an attractive tax structure would attract residents and businesses alike. So, recently, the Dutch made changes to their tax laws to make it easier to do business in their country.
