Read My Lips

Kelly Phillips ErbMay 16, 2007

Thanks to all of the presidential candidates who have weighed in on my tax policy questions – each of the candidates were asked to reply to the same six questions. I’ve really enjoyed speaking with the candidates and their aides and am very impressed by the thoughtfulness that seems to have gone into a lot of the tax policy platforms. It’s actually surprising to hear this much detail this early in the race.

On the recommendations of the candidates and their staff, I now have a list of podcasts, books, and websites to check out (which I will do – I promise!) and share with my readers. I have also been invited to participate in some follow-up, which is very exciting.

I would like to thank all of the candidates in advance who have taken the time to share their thoughts about tax with me. I think that tax and tax policy is one area that all Americans care about – it is, after all, our money.

So, without further ado, let the interviews begin!
