My favorite subject in school was geography. It started a lifetime obsession with travel and culture. As someone who deals with cross-border transactions, that perspective is invaluable.

Math. Of course, when I was in school girls weren’t supposed to be good in math.

Art. I have a very creative side and have found that even now, in the office, parties, and at home that side comes in handy. Decorating, creating games and scrapbooking are my specialties.

In high school it was History — any kind of History, but World History in particular. In college, Math.

Biology – Our instructor, who was a very cool “hippie” (1969/1970), took us on a field trip chasing butterflies. What a hoot it was watching him commune with nature and run around a big ol’ field chasing butterflies with a net. All the girls had a crush on him.
