I promised I would do a few giveaways mixed in with some trivia to celebrate my five year blogoversary. So here’s the first:
Over the years, I’ve changed blogging platforms a few times. I’ve used Blogger, WordPress.com, Typepad and proprietary software. I currently used WordPress.org, which is the platform that I’ve used since September 2008. WordPress offers the opportunity to use a number of plugins (basically, add-ons) and one of the most popular is the Akismet spam filter. I have 10,114 comments which have been approved and appear on the site. How many spam comments has Akismet successfully captured since I started using it in September 2008?
