I’m been following the conversations on Warren Buffett and his concerns about the tax system and have to say that I find it fascinating. When one of the wealthiest men in the world criticizing our tax system as “tilted towards the rich,” it’s time to take notice.
The original video (from 2007) has been removed from YouTube but Buffett reiterated his comments in 2019. You can catch those here:
When I glanced at the title of this post in my RSS reader, I thought it was “Buffet is critical… to the rich?” So I wondered, “rich people like eating buffets? fascinating!”
Then I realized, oh wait, this is from the TaxGirl, not the Dilbert blog.
Or maybe I am just hungry.
Warren Buffet has shown that wealth can be used as a tool for industry, and create wealth for others. His biggest contribution has been that he has shown all the rich don’t have the trait of greed. To me that makes him a fascinating member of the human race. Too bad others didn’t have the same bredding
I can only admire Warren Buffett immensely for voicing such a view as this. I wish he would run for president.
