I know, I know. You’re tired of the renovations… Me too. But I’m almost back to normal…
The big elephant in the room? Feeds. Your old feed likely doesn’t work anymore, depending on how long you’ve been with taxgirl.com. You’ll need to try something new.
[UPDATED: the link that I had inserted earlier DOES NOT work yet – grr. Please use the Feedburner links as outlined below]
You can also subscribe via RSS or email using Feedburner by clicking the appropriate link in the sidebar to your right. And great news! When you sign up for a free email subscription to taxgirl, it now comes to your inbox from me, using feed@taxgirl.com. The old feed sometimes read with a different blog name or as “unknown” but was unfortunately out of my control; you can delete the old one. So, Dad, stop complaining! The new email system rocks – or for the elders among us that can’t stand “that noise” (you know who you are) – it gently rolls.
If you experience any difficulties at all reading the site or getting the feed to work, please let me know! I’m happy to help.
I’m also really excited about the upcoming changes to the site. It’ll get prettier, I promise – and even more fun to read!
Just so ya know, the feed I get via my.yahoo.com still works — goes to your new site ‘n everything.
Oh — just to combine notes… Happy Birthday!

Ack — I spoke too soon… no it doesn’t. I do get the initial blurb on my.yahoo, but then when I try to go to the full article, I get the error you refer to. Duzn’t matter much to me, since I have your main URL in my de-licio-dot-oose bookmarks anyway!

Thanks, I’m still struggling to get it straight. My feeds got crossed (oy) and it just lead to craziness.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I’m looking forward to a nice day with the family (the girls have already made me paper cake and cappuccino).
I still get the full feed with no problems.
BTW, what platform were you on before?
taxgirl has been on WordPress for a few years now. Before that, I wrote under the name “intaxicated” on Typepad.
The reason for the glitch is that the feed was redirected by b5media to a b5 feed while I was part of the network – that was through feedburner. When they released my feed, somehow the wires got crossed and it was feeding two blogs. I hope that’s all fixed now – we’ll see!
Woohoo! And Happy Birthday, my friend! If I can help out in anyway, don’t hesitate to ask. Love you bunches, now go have a martini, mmmkay???
Thanks much for the birthday wishes!
I may take you up on your offer, you blogging genius, you…
Ah, I was wondering if it was TypePad. That’s my platform and I’m planning a migration to WP early next year. I was going to ask if you did a post on the migration, but if it’s been several years it’s probably not that relevant anymore.
