    rose,
the order is determined by the SS number of the primary taxpayer (the one whose name appears first).

I HAVE NOT YET BEEN “ECONOMICALLY STIMULATED” MY SOCIAL ENDS IN 08 AND I RECEIVED MY REFUND FOR 2007 DIRECT DEPOSITED INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT ON 2/28/07.
WHERE IS MY STIMULATION? TODAY IS 5/1/08. MONEY IS NOT IN MY ACCOUNT TODAY. IF THE IRS IS GOING TO DIRECT DEPOSIT 00 THRU 20 NO LATER THAN MAY 2ND THEN THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE 12 MORE DIGITS TO GO AT THE LAST MINUTE.

I too didn’t get economically stimuated this morning. MY SSN ends in 03. You can go on the IRS.gov website and they tell you about a ‘delay’.

My SS# ends in 17. According to the Federal Governemnt, i should have received my rebate check last Friday, may 2, 2008.
It is now Monday, May 5, and i just checked my
account at the local branch of my bank.
Still no e-deposit (I had my Fed. Tax refund promptly deposited by H&R Block)
I know about 15 people, personally, that should have received their check
on the same day as me. None of them have.
I don’t know a SINGLE PERSON who has received their check via e-deposit.
I’ve already called my Senator’s and Congressmen and left irate messages with their staff.
I encourage EVERYBODY to do the same.
It’s time for American’s to get up, take action and
    start a NON-VIOLENT PEACEFUL REVOLUTION.
If the politicians get the message they will accomodate our demands. If they don’t, they’ll be out of work come November.

    fingers,
I do think it’s a good idea to let your Congressional officials know if you’re not happy. If they don’t hear it from the people, how will they know?

    Here’s another thought:
Why haven’t I heard anything about this on the news?
    Or public radio?
Or, even on the IRS website?
We need to speak out now!

    Fingers,

Was your refund deposited by the IRS or HR Block? If it was the latter then this is classed as a commercial bank and doesn’t fall into the direct deposit from the IRS category. You will most likely receive a check in the mail on the 19th May…

well the irs site says you have to allow time for the direct deposit payment. do the “where’s my refund” and see the “happy” message about allowing two weeks more to receive payment. wonder when it will be admitted on the newsreels. i am about sick of grinning faces talking about how all of this money will help. we still don’t have it. mine was in the may 9th time line to be received.
