We Have Our NeatReceipts Winners!

Kelly Phillips ErbMarch 24, 2009

Thanks to all who participated in our Neat Company contest! It was a lot of fun. I really encourage you to go back and read all of the comments, they were so well done.

It was difficult to choose our favorites. But with a little help from the folks at the Neat Company, we have our winners…

First runner up is Adam who wrote:

I would use the extra time to start a new tax prep business. I have always enjoyed doing tax returns and if I am able to unclutter my desk, my office may actually be presentable enough to invite people in . I would love to have one of these great devices so I can recommend it to my new clients next year!

Adam wins a NeatReceipts scanner.

The grand prize winner is Jay, who beyond the obvious (and successful) attempt at flattery, clearly needs some organization – another commenter agreed! He wrote:

Let me start by offering this photo. It is of my desk/work area, taken moments ago (note what’s on the PC screen).

So clearly, I need some organizational help.

Heck, I might need 3 or 4 NeatDesk’s and gaggle of assistants to organize this train wreck.

What would I do if I won?

After I solved world hunger and the financial crisis, I’d take an “after” photo of my neat desk and become the new NeatDesk poster boy.

Jay wins a NeatDesk scanner.

Special mentions go to Jen M who played the sympathy card by mentioning the loss of free food, Christopher for mentioning origami and to Linda, who did math.

On a personal note, it was really heartening to see how many readers would use their extra time to help others. What a great group of folks I have here on the blog!

Again, thanks to the Neat Company for donating the prizes. And thanks to everyone who participated in our contest. Happy organizing!

    Woo hoo!

I’d like to take a moment to thank the Academy, but mostly my wife who somehow tolerates the piles of crap on my desk (and beyond). She’s near the breaking point though, so this could not have come at a better time.

I will put it through the wringer.

    THANKS!!
