Taxes Will Defeat The Axis

Nothing says “pay your taxes” like a little animated government propaganda…  This is a really interesting collaboration from the WW2 era between the US government and Disney to promote paying your taxes. My favorite part is the end where the announcer reminds us that “taxes will defeat the axis.”

To put it in context, apparently between 1940 and 1945, Disney made a host of short films and one full-length film (“Victory through Air Power”) to boost morale and efforts during the war.  This is just one of about 32 shorts that were made:
