Back To School Giveaway #3

Kelly Phillips ErbSeptember 9, 2009May 18, 2020

UPDATED: We have a winner! Congratulations to Amelia! I will be in touch!

You can win a copy of Corel Home Office. Corel Home Office is a brand new office suite aimed at families and features the tools parents and kids use most. So whether you’re doing the family budget, completing school work, preparing materials for volunteer projects or running a home-based business, this suite makes it easy.

Corel Home Office has a low memory requirement and small footprint – so small, in fact, that it’s offered on a USB stick. In addition, for multi-language families (or those whose kids are learning another language), Corel Home Office can be installed in 13 different languages, allowing you to go back and forth between languages as needed.

To qualify for the giveaway, just answer this question in the comments below:

What was your favorite extra curricular activity in school?

You have until 5 a.m. EST tomorrow. I’ll randomly choose a winner from all of the qualifying comments. For a complete look at the giveaway rules, check out this prior post.

I was one of those types who did theatre, dance, and singing. My favorite was theatre–I wasn’t very good but in each show the cast became really close and the excitement of performance nights is something I miss.

Field hockey in high school. Demonstrating against the Vietnam War and sailing in college.

PS Not interested in winning this prize, just like to play along at home.

I did everything during high school: tennis, orchestra, piano, Key Club, chess team, math team, student government, etc. I think my favorite was candy striping at the hospital.

I went to a Quaker school and for a while served on the Religious Life Committee. Went to a great weekend conference where we got to hear noted Quaker theologian Elizabeth Watson speak and stay up all night discussing the nature of God. It was great.

Tennis. I had extremely overprotective parents so it was one of the few times I was allowed out of the house. I played singles for the high school varsity team in the 8th grade. I was more thrilled about the friendships I made than excelling at the sport. I could sneak out for pizza and say I was at practice and my parents did not care.
