Nothing Says Romance Like Signing A Tax Return

Kelly Phillips ErbFebruary 14, 2011

Happy Valentine’s Day from the IRS!

As I posted previously, the IRS had announced that it would begin processing those returns which were initially delayed beginning on February 14, 2011. If you were one of the affected taxpayers (meaning those who itemized or claimed certain deductions, including educational expenses), you were unable to submit your return to the IRS until today. But now, it’s all good. So go ahead, pop the champagne, turn down the lights and sign those returns.

Usually we get our property tax bill on Valentine’s Day. It being Monday, we’re getting a break, they are being mailed today so we won’t have to look at them until tomorrow.

Setting the mood for signing tax returns is pretty humorous. But sending those could be important for a lot of people. Thank you for sharing.
