2012: The Year In Taxes

Kelly Phillips ErbJanuary 1, 2013July 5, 2020

Each year, I try to do a wrap-up of the year in tax. With so much going on this weekend in Congress, I almost didn’t get it done in time. But here, just under the wire, are the top posts of 2012.

Quick warning: there are a lot of links. It’s kind of the nature of the beast. If you are a regular reader, chances are that you’ve seen all of these before. But if you’re just stopping by – or just started reading – I hope you’ll enjoy the round-up. It’s a compilation of the most popular posts by views, my personal favorites, and the top tax issues of the year. So now, without further ado, I present…

The top five taxgirl.com posts by views for 2012, in increasing order of popularity:

On a personal note, it’s been a super year on the blog. I am deeply appreciative of my readers who have been so loyal and thoughtful and supportive this year. Without you, it’s just words on a screen. Thank you and best wishes for a terrific 2013. Happy New Year!
